GENERAL INFORMATION
 
 
Attention 8th graders!  Tickets are on sale before school & during 1st lunch for the 8th grade dance -June 2nd and the end of the year Knott's trip -June 7th. Tickets are $40 for each event. Don't forget to bring your student ID to make a purchase.  ASB
 
TA Applications:  If you would like to be a TA next year, Applications will be available in May and will ONLY be available to incoming 8th graders.
 
Attn. 6/7 graders:  MMS will be piloting one section of zero period 7th/8th grades PE in the fall.  Class will meet from 7:30 -8:30 am M, T, W, & F.  This zero period will allow students to take 2 year-long electives during the school day.  For more information and an application come to the counseling office.  Applications are due today at 4:00.
 
Are you interested in what's going on in the world?  Are you looking for a different kind of elective course? Maybe you should consider Current Events being offered next fall!  It is an academic class and would take the place of your elective.  We will be discussing topical items currently in the news including politics, sports, entertainment, and social issues.   Pick up an application in the counseling office today and get it turned in by Friday, April 28th.
 
Attn. CJSF members planning on going to Magic Mountain:  All permission slips and Money is due this Friday.  If you turned in a permission slip to Mrs. Bender, and have not turned in the money, you are not on the confirmed list of students going.  Remember, cash only, no personal checks are accepted.
 
"Attention all 7th grade students!  As you know the Renaissance Faire is next Monday, May 1st - please do not forget to bring in your donation forms to your social studies teachers by this Friday, the 28th!  Thank you for all of your help and support which helps to make this event possible!  We are looking forward to a very fun day!"
 
If you would like to join or continue bike club, then the next meeting will be on April 27th at 8:15 in Ms. Astley’s room J-3.  If you have any questions talk to Evan Larson.  See you there!
 
Want to have fun with friends and food? Come join JAM-BC Moore’s Bible Club.  It’s on Wednesday mornings at 7:30 a.m. in Ms. Jewell’s room E-1.  All are welcome.  See you there!! 
 
Reminder that all WEB leader applications are due to Mr. Martin or the office by Friday 4/28 at 4 pm.  There will also be another informational meeting Friday, 4/28 at Lunch in H-7 at lunch.
 
Redlands Art Association is offering youth art classes with session beginning May 8th – June 8th.  Summer Art Camps begin on June 12th.  Summer Art Camps are held in 2 week sessions.  If interested pick up a flyer in the Counseling Center.
 
The Boys and Girls Club of Redlands is offering Summer Day Camp beginning June 12th.  They are also offering camp Einstein where Science, Technology, Engineering Math & Imagination collides in the outdoors.  Girl’s camp will be held from July 13-16th and the Boys camp will be held from July 27-30th.   Scholarships & early bird discounts available.  Flyers are available in the office.
 
The 2017 Redlands Bicycle Classic will be held on Saturday, May 6th.  Go to www.redlandsclassic.com to register.
