New immunization requirements for the 2016-2017 school year/SB 277:áAll incoming Kindergarten and 7thágrade students must have current immunizations on record to begin school on August 10, 2016.áCalifornia law SB 277 no longer allows personal or religious beliefs exemptions. RUSD Bus Pass Information: 2016-2017:

Bus Pass applications can be submitted starting May 31stáand all applications received through June 30th will be available for pick up as scheduled below for each school. Applications submitted after June 30th will be available after August 8th.

To qualify for District transportation students must meet the following criteria:
  • Elementary Students must live greater than 1.5 miles from their assigned home school.
  • Middle School Students must live greater than 2.0 miles from their assigned home school.
  • Transportation is not available for High School students except for those that reside in Angeles Oaks & Forest Falls.
Bus Pass Application:
The Transportation Department is requiring all bus riders to submit an updated application by clicking here or by obtaining a paper copy from the Transportation Office.

Submitting the Application: á
You can submit the application for the 2016-2017 school year by e-mail to:ábuspass@redlands.k12.ca.us or by mail to P.O. Box 3008 Redlands Ca 92373 Attn: Transportation.

Picking up the Bus Pass: á
Bus passes will be available for pickup at the Bus Pass Office beginning August 2ndá@ 956 E Citrus Ave (across from Redlands High School) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Fee Waiver:á Children of families with income at or below the Federal guidelines for free or reduced price lunch will be eligible to receive free or reduced cost of transportation services. To determine if you qualify, go to http://www.cde.ca.gov/ls/nu/rs/scales1516.asp

If you believe you qualify for free or reduced lunch, you should check the box on the application. To expedite the processing of your application, you may grant us the ability to obtain information from Child Nutrition Services to verify free or reduced status.á Please fill out the application in its entirety.

REPLACEMENT FEE FOR LOST/STOLEN/DEFACED/DAMAGED BUS PASS: $10.00

Intra-District Students: áStudents who are on an intra-district transfer and can safely access service from an existing stop may apply for a Conditional Bus Pass. Conditional Bus Pass Applications will ONLY be considered based on space availability AFTER Labor Day.

Refund Policy: áBus pass refunds are available on a pro-rated basis ONLY. In order to file a refund you must return bus pass and complete the refund slip. There will be a $20.00 processing fee.
